We have system level capabilities to port various RTOS’s on different target processor platforms. Our engineers are conversant with standard boards based on 80x86 and ARM processors. We also develop low level monitors and diagnostic firmware for hardware boards. We have the expertise to Design for testing and manufacturing.
We provide value added services such as design and development of device drivers for various peripherals, porting communication protocol stacks under different Operating systems and development of embedded applications for different embedded systems.
We are well conversant with IEC 60601 guidelines which covers four collateral standards viz, Markings, Earthing, Mechanical and Electrical related to medical device development. Depending on the requirements, we can provide EMI and EMC certificates for the products developed.
Prototyping
At Veol Labs, we offer a full prototyping service. This aids in transition of the project, from Concept phase to design phase. We create prototypes to evaluate functioning of the concept and to know whether the concept can be manufactured while maintaining the integrity of the design and minimizing the cost per unit. Many of the design and manufacturing challenges are exposed at this stage.
